We have been told, time and time again, that it is God's will that we should have health and that we should prosper. Contrary to what some people might think, God does not put sickness on us. Although, he does allow us to go through these trials and tribulations so that our faith and trust in Him might grow. I know that in the bible God put sickness and even death on a lot of people. But, He, also said it is not his will that we should be sick and that he will always be there to see us through any storm. So, it is my understanding that he will not put sickness and strife on His children.
If life was a bed of roses all the time, we'd be a bunch of pansies, too weak to survive and our faith would never grow.
What so many christians don't realize is that we are continually fighting a spiritual battle. Many churches, today, don't teach this side of our christian walk. I believe this is due to the fact that a big percentage of our leaders and teachers are not educated in this area, or are afraid to touch on the subject for fear of upsetting their congregations.
In order to fight a war, you must know your enemy. You must know his strengths and weaknesses and his tactics:
Strengths:
1. Satan has the power to steal, kill, and destroy. (But only if we allow him that power).
Weaknesses:
1. Satan is not omnipotent (all-powerful)
2. Satan is not omnipresent (he cannot be everywhere at all times)
3. Satan is not omniscient (he is not all knowing)
Tactics:
1. Satan can't read our minds, but he can, through our spritual ears, put thoughts in our minds that can cause us to have doubts and fears, with the hope that we will give in to defeat.
2. He tries to tempt us with worldly pleasures. If he can get our minds off God long enough, he can destroy us.
As you can see, satan's weaknesses far outweigh his strengths.
(What we confess, we possess!)
Just remember, in Matthew 10:1, Jesus gave us the power to do all things in His name. We need only to have the faith to exercise that power without allowing doubt to cause our faith to stagger. You must refrain from all negativity and refuse to accept any lies that satan tries to hand you.
And most important of all, You must love God with all your mind, body, and soul, and accept Jesus as your personal savior.
We serve a God that spoke the entire universe in to existence. This leads me to believe a little thing like cancer, stroke, or heart attack can hardly be worth giving a second thought. Because anything that God can create, He can, also, fix.
We need only to:
1. Know Jesus as our personal savior
2. Submit our lives to his will and keep his commandments
3. Realize the power and authority we have in Christ
4. Depend on God to take care of all our needs and know that He will
5. Study His word to show ourselves approved and to know His will
and instructions for our lives.
God is not moved by circumstances or emotions. So, if you need a miracle, grab hold of it and don't let go for anything!
Remember Phillipians 4:13
"We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us".
" A Very Special Prayer for a Special lady"
Father, we come to you on behalf of this lady with cancer. "Tho we don't know her name , we know that you know everything about her. Lord, we lift this body that you created up to you and ask that you repair all that is ailing. Especially, Father, remove this cancer and all reminders that it was ever there. Father forgive our sins that they may not hinder our prayers. Lord we put our faith and our trust in you. We love you and we take your promises to us seriously. Lord, we ask that you approach the throne on our behalf. We know not how to pray, Lord. So, we ask you as our advocate to deliver this request to the throne of grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit and we call it done. Lord, we worship you, for you are worthy of our praise. Praise you, Lord. Amen and Amen!
If you are lost and can't seem to find your way, Let go and Let God! For He is the way the truth and the light. This world is just a roadside park on our way to Heaven to spend all eternity with God. It is during this time on earth that determines whether we will spend eternity in Heaven with God or in hell with satan. The best part is that it is totally our choice. We must accept God as the divine creator and accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior. We must do our best to live according to God's word and be obedient to him. In those times of weakness when we fail, we have an advocate in Christ who will forgive our sins and help us through those low times in our lives.
If the Lord has dealt with your heart and you are ready to accept him as your savior, just repeat these words: Lord I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins. Come in to my heart and save my soul. Help me to be the best that I can be as a christian. Let me be a vessel that you can work through to reach others who are lost and to help those in need. I ask all this in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
" A Very Special Prayer For My Wife, Linda!"
Father, in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I ask you, right now, to take Linda in your arms and protect her. Let your healing power flow through every vein in her body, forcing every affliction to have to leave. We love you so much, Lord. We give you praise and glory.
Satan we command you, in the name of Jesus, to be gone from Linda's body and never again cause her affliction. We bind you in the name of Jesus. You have no authority in our lives. You are a liar and a thief.
We praise you, Lord. We ask all this in the name of Jesus and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we call it done. Amen and Amen!
Praise report!
Praise be to God, all the cancer is gone from my wife's body and treatment was not needed. Hallelujah!
"Special Prayer for Sophia!"
In the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we lift up Sophia to you Lord. We hold you to your promises and we claim victory over the devil. We believe that Sophia will be healed in the name of Jesus. The devil is a liar and he has no authority over God's children. Praise You, Lord. We give you glory and honor. Amen and amen!
If you have a prayer need of any kind, let us know so that we can stand in agreement with you. Remember that the first prayer you ever pray should be one of repentance and to accept Christ as your savior. God hears all prayers and he knows your needs even before you do. But He is under no obligation to answer those prayers if you are not one of His children. I, personally, ask forgiveness of my sins at the beginning of every prayer so that unrepented sin will not stand in the way of my prayer being answered. I, also, surround myself with true believers to avoid doubt getting in the way. When I pray about anything, I expect reults. One more thing that we have to remember is that, sometimes, God's answer is "NO". At times we pray for things that would not be in our best interest. It is these times that God has to play the part of our Father and make the tough choice for us.
